What's new

New ways to stay ahead with forecast alerts

HydroForecast’s alerting capabilities just got more powerful with new customizable alerts. In addition to threshold alerts, you can now set Long-Term Average Comparison Alerts to catch when forecasted flow deviates from historical norms, and Upcoming Event Alerts to get early warnings when short-term flow is expected to rise sharply. Customize your forecast alerts to match your needs and stay proactive, not reactive, as conditions change.

WeatherNext Graph available in HydroForecast

WeatherNext Graph is an AI weather model developed by Google DeepMind. We added this new weather forecast in the Short-term Weather section of the dashboard and via our API. While it’s not yet an input to our flow model, this addition provides access to one of the most cutting-edge AI weather models available today. Learn more about the new insights from Google's AI weather data.

Deep dive: How HydroForecast works

HydroForecast is a theory guided artificial intelligence (AI) model, combining the strengths of physics-based and machine learning approaches. Curious what that means and why it matters? Check out this deep dive explaining what sets HydroForecast apart.

Unit options to support international users

As HydroForecast grows internationally, we’re making it easier to work in the units that matter to you. While U.S. users are familiar with cubic feet per second and Fahrenheit, many of our global users work in cubic meters per second, Celsius, or even megaliters per day. We now offer tailored unit options across the dashboard and API, so you can visualize and interpret forecasts in the format that fits your operations.
