Liz is Upstream Tech’s Head of Growth. Liz was previously Director of Product at Planet, leading the satellite imagery and basemap product team. She was also Head of International Partnerships at Saildrone, focusing on growth into new markets for rapid access to oceanographic and atmospheric data. As Director of Business Development of Mutatio, Liz led efforts for the company’s IT modernization solutions strategy and expansion into new federal civilian and commercial markets. Liz has a passion for emerging tech that focuses on climate solutions and sustainability, and has presented on these subjects at the European Space Agency and United Nations (UNESCO). She earned her MA from George Mason University, and BA at The College of William & Mary. Liz is a single mom, and enjoys running, traveling, and exploring the oceans with her son.
