Karen focuses on the day to day operations at Upstream Tech as its Business Operations Manager. Prior to joining the Upstream Tech team, Karen worked across diverse roles to advance the sustainability and renewable energy sectors, from working with local governments to write their climate action plans to scaling funding opportunities for the implementation of innovative sustainability research. Karen is PMP-certified and holds Masters degrees in Sustainability Solutions and Psychology from Arizona State University and a BA from the University of Michigan. She enjoys hiking, biking, and exploring pastries at farmer’s markets.
